Frequently asked questions

How do I reset my password?

On the login screen, tap Forgot password? below the sign-in form. Enter your registered email address and we'll send you a reset link. If you don't receive the email within 10 minutes, check your spam folder, or email support@stampready.org and we'll help manually.

Why can't I change my licensure state?

You can change it anytime. Open Profile → Licensure State and select your new jurisdiction from the searchable grid. Your marketplace, library, and checklist content will automatically re-filter to match.

How do exam accommodations work?

StampReady supports four accommodation modes that you can toggle in Profile → Accommodations:

These are practice settings only. Official NCEES exam accommodations must be arranged directly through NCEES and your state board.

Can I export all my data?

Yes. Go to Profile → Export Data to download a JSON file with your profile, study history, purchases, and feedback submissions. No account required — you can request it yourself at any time.

How do I delete my account?

Email privacy@stampready.org from your registered email address and ask for deletion. We will confirm and then permanently delete your account and all associated personal data within 30 days. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.

The app crashed. What do I do?

First, try these in order:

  1. Force-refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac)
  2. If on mobile, fully close the app and reopen it
  3. Check the version number at the bottom of the login page — if the dot is red, your cached version is stale
  4. Clear your browser site data for stampready.app

If the crash persists, email support@stampready.org with: the version number, what you were doing, and a screenshot of any error message. We'll reproduce and fix it.

Can I use StampReady offline?

Partially. Once you've visited the app at least once, our service worker caches the shell and some content so you can browse question banks and references without a connection. However, features that require the server (login, real-time chat, video, purchases, score submission) need internet access.

Is StampReady available in Spanish?

Yes. Every screen, question, reference, and error message is fully translated. Toggle the language in the avatar dropdown or on the login page. Additional languages (Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Arabic) are partially supported and being completed.

Report a bug

Found something broken? Please include the following in your email so we can fix it quickly:

  1. The build version (shown at the bottom of the login page)
  2. Your browser and operating system (e.g. "Chrome 130 on macOS 14")
  3. Exact steps to reproduce the bug
  4. What you expected vs. what actually happened
  5. A screenshot or screen recording if the issue is visual
  6. Any error messages shown in the browser console (press F12 to open DevTools)

Send to support@stampready.org. Bug reports go directly to the founder and are triaged within 4 business hours.

About the operator

StampReady is built and operated by Devin Davidson, P.E., a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas (TBPE #124920). Not a corporation, not a VC-backed startup, not a content farm — just an engineer who got tired of the existing exam prep options and decided to build something better.

You can read more about the company on the main site.
